I’m Ashley (or Ash for short), and I am more than just a photographer — I’m a storyteller for people and brands with something big to say.
I've always seen the world a bit differently. Literally.
One of my eyes—let's call it my "artistic" eye—paints everything with a blur, like peering through a glass of water.
For the longest time, I thought everyone had one blurry eye and a clear one. Imagine my surprise when I found out that's not the norm! It wasn't until a chat with a friend at age 11 that I realised my vision was uniquely mine.
"You know how you have one blind eye," I asked her.
Immediately she returned a puzzled look that spoke volumes and then said hesitantly, “No, what are you talking about?”
A doctor would later confirm that I have a blind eye, despite notable accomplishments in sports! I had adapted to vision deficit, but the revelation of this blind eye came with a sobering truth: if my clear eye ever failed, I would be legally blind.
This fear of vision loss became my fuel, and photography became my way to hold onto every colour, face, and ray of light.
My way to remember, to keep, to cherish. It’s real and it's mine, a way of holding on to every detail, every moment, every story before they fade.

While I've traveled thousands of kilometres on rollerblades, my camera has journeyed even farther with me. It's been my trusty sidekick, capturing countless moments from the vast Canadian landscapes to the raw emotions of entrepreneurs like you for as long as I can remember. I will never stop shooting.
I'm the only woman to rollerblade across Canada, covering a whopping 10,000km from NFLD to BC.
Pet mom to a pug named Claude, a Bull Terrier named Zoey, and human mom to two awesome kiddos. With them and my amazing husband, our household is just one furball away from a full-blown circus!
I'm obsessed with local coffee shops. Got any recommendations? I'm 'brewed' and ready to hear them!
